DIY: Ornament Picture Transfer

I have been into wood transferring for a while now and since my parents love our dogs I thought I would make some photo ornaments of our pets for my parents to put on their tree. It's really simple but you just have to have the right materials and patience! Here is a little tutorial on how to make this:

DIY: Burnt Wooden Christmas Ornament

All the firsts in marriage are really exciting. This will be Joey's and I's 1st Christmas being married but it's not our first Christmas together. We have had Christmases since 2008 but this is our first Christmas as our own little family!

I wanted to make a little ornament for our tree which has been up since the Monday before Thanksgiving because we just love Christmas too much to wait.

I made this cute little ornament that blends in well with our red and gold decorations. Here is a little DIY that is super easy!

Halloween 2015

This year my brothers decided they were too old to dress up so they didn't dress up, which means I didn't get to make their costumes :( Joey had to work so there was really no point in dressing up either.

Truth be told, I'm not really into dressing up for Halloween but I have enjoyed making my brother's costumes each year.

So because I was not able to sew their costumes this year, I instead thought I would make my dog's costumes like a good crazy dog lady would.

It all started when I remembered seeing some dog Mario and Luigi costumes a long time ago. I decided to give it a go and it wasn't hard! It was actually very very easy and I was surprised with how quickly I was able to make them! Here are Jake and Toby in their Mario Brothers Costumes!

Full striped skirt

Follow my blog with Bloglovin

You know when people ask you where you got the skirt that you did a good job at making it.

Also when your fiancĂ© comes to pick you up and greets you with a "woah!"

I got the idea from this blog. Enjoy.
